A Master’s degree from the Agricultural and Resource Economics Department provides graduates with the skills to work as an economist and provides great job opportunities both here in Northern California and throughout the world. ARE Master’s graduates work in a wide range of fields including consulting, finance, and agribusiness. The program provides the training necessary to complete a Ph.D., and often graduates pursue this immediately following graduation, many opting to continue here in the ARE Department.
